The BF left last Monday for the big move to DC. I am staying behind until May to get our house all packed up and will make the big, long drive alone.

It has been difficult balancing my time. I need to start packing and downsizing but I also have to cherish the last few weeks I have in Las Vegas with my family and friends. All while still working and man is it a busy time of the year for my department.

So this weekend, I choose fun over responsibilities. Beginning with a wine tasting event with my sister.

And then tomorrow is my favorite time of the year, not the dreadful Daylight Savings, but NASCAR!

This could potentially be my last NASCAR race with my father. And thanks to my sister, we are attending in style. She was able to swing us VIP passes in a Suite box. It doesn’t get much better than that!

I can’t wait to cheer for my favorite, Kasey Kahne!
